Surrounded by flower beds, fields and gardens, Toft Estate is an exclusive-use countryside estate on the Staffordshire and Cheshire edge of the Peak District, with views across the Cheshire Plain.
At its heart is Toft Hall, a Grade II listed manor house built in 1590 and once home to the High Sheriff of Staffordshire. Around the courtyard sit two converted barns and a small stone cottage, giving you 23 generously proportioned bedrooms for 46 to 48 guests. It is historic in character, with all the comforts you need for a modern group getaway.
Book the whole estate for big birthdays, family reunions, hen parties, stag dos and corporate retreats. Toft Estate is also a small wedding reception venue in the Peak District for up to 48 staying guests.

Before you book
- Hot tubs reach a maximum of 38°C. If guests stayed the night before, they can take until late evening on arrival day to fully reheat
- Children under 15 are not allowed in the hot tubs
- Dogs are welcome for £40 per dog
- Micro wedding receptions: up to 48 staying guests, no day guests, a small marquee only, music finishes by 9pm

How many people does Toft Estate sleep?
46 to 48 guests in 23 bedrooms: Toft Hall sleeps 20, Chels Barn 12, Toft Barn 12 and Toft Nook 2 to 4.
Can we book just one of the houses?
Yes, some houses can be hired separately. Toft Hall sleeps 20, Chels Barn and Toft Barn sleep 24 together, and each barn sleeps 12 on its own.
How many hot tubs are there?
Two five-person hot tubs, one at Toft Hall and one at Chels Barn. They reach a maximum of 38°C and children under 15 are not allowed in them.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes. Bed linen (except cot linen), towels, central heating, electricity and logs are all included.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, Toft Estate is pet-friendly and the charge is £40 per dog.
Can we hold a wedding at Toft Estate?
We host micro wedding receptions for up to 48 guests who are all staying on the estate. There are no day guests, only a small marquee is permitted and music finishes by 9pm.

On the south-western edge of the Peak District in the Staffordshire Moorlands, on the Cheshire border, about 12 minutes from Leek and 20 minutes from Macclesfield.
