Activities with My Event Concierge
Many of our guests recommend My Event Concierge (MEC), a trusted company that organises bespoke catering and activity experiences at Toft Estate.
With more than five years of experience and over 15,000 clients, MEC has a reputation for thoughtful, detail-driven service. Whether you are planning a birthday, a hen party, a stag do or a corporate retreat, everything is brought to the house so you never have to leave.
For activity days, MEC brings everything to the estate and sets it up in the gardens, with expert instructors running each session. Choose two or three of these for a full day:
- Archery: a full range with targets and safety netting, a practice session, then scoring rounds and games like Archery Darts.
- Axe throwing: Nordic axe and knife throwing with technique coaching from an instructor (ages 12 and over).
- Combat archery: part dodgeball, part paintball, part archery, with bows, arrows, arm guards and face protection provided.
- Laser clay shooting: an introduction followed by a team competition, with as many clays as you can shoot.
- Bubble football: a fast, bouncy match in inflatable zorbs, plus games like Bulldog, Sumo and Last Man Standing.
- Old school sports day: colour-coded teams battle it out in egg and spoon, sack races, space hoppers and more.
Each activity runs for around 1.5 to 2 hours and finishes with final scores, a winning team and photos. Food for all dietary requirements is included.

- The Roaches, about 10 minutes away, for big views (and our sister venue Roaches Hall for 30 more guests)
- Tittesworth Reservoir for walks and watersports
- Madrenaline Activity Centre, a few minutes’ drive away
- Lud’s Church and Mam Tor for dramatic landscapes
Pubs & restaurants
There are some lovely country pubs within a few minutes’ drive, from The Knot Inn and The Royal Oak in Rushton Spencer to The Lazy Trout at Meerbrook and The Ship Inn at Wincle.
